Il Seminario internazionale di psicologia e senso religioso è un evento biennale organizzato da membri del Gruppo di Lavoro di psicologia e religione della National Association for Research and Postgraduate Studies in Psychology (ANPEPP). “Affects and meaning-making – clinical and literary perspectives”. Biry, 21 – 22 ottobre 2019

Knowledge about the significance of affects within mental health is a central issue in psychology and psychotherapy. Jon Monsen, professor at University of Oslo, in this research, affect integration and affect consciousness are key concepts, addressing our ability to consciously perceive, tolerate, reflect upon, and express emotions appropriately. Gunn-Ingrid Ulstein will relate this knowledge to the psychology of religion and how metaphors can contain processes of meaning-making.
